Business Development Manager – Sales

Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager with a focus on Interior Design, Office Furniture, Modular Kitchens, and Home Interiors, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building key business relationships, and expanding market presence by effectively positioning our design-led solutions to the right clients.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across residential, commercial, corporate, and hospitality sectors.
Client Relationship Management
Cultivate and nurture relationships with architects, builders, developers, designers, HNWIs, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders.
Solution-Oriented Selling
Collaborate with design and project teams to craft tailored proposals, presentations, and product demos that align with client needs.
Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management
Develop and implement sales strategies, pipeline development, lead generation (cold calls, referrals, trade shows), and conversion tactics.
Negotiation & Deal Closure
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements to maximize deal closure and profitability.
Market Research & Trend Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging client demands to inform strategic decisions.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Maintain CRM records, track KPIs (e.g., lead conversion, sales volumes), and provide regular reports to management.
Networking & Brand Building
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
Proven 3–7 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition in interior design, furniture, modular kitchens, or allied sectors.
Strong network and industry understanding of architects, real estate developers, contractors, interior designers, and corporate buyers.
Core Skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic and analytical mindset with strong market intelligence and client insight capabilities.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office; experience in Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent is a plus.
Self-driven, target-oriented, capable of independent work and collaborative team engagement.
