Position: Bancassurance Officer (B1)
Department: Sales / Distribution – Bancassurance
Reporting To: Bancassurance Manager / Zonal Head
Drive the life insurance distribution business through bank partners (e.g., Union Bank of India tie-up with IndiaFirst Life Insurance). Focus on growing insurance sales, managing partner relationships, and ensuring compliance with bancassurance processes.
Manage and grow bancassurance business through assigned bank partners.
Achieve sales targets for life insurance products (term plans, savings plans, health riders).
Coordinate with bank relationship teams to enhance product penetration.
Train and motivate bank staff/sales teams on product features & sales techniques.
Monitor the sales funnel — leads, conversions, closures, renewals.
Ensure KYC, compliance, and documentation accuracy.
Provide periodic MIS & reports to regional/bancassurance leadership.
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of life insurance products & bancassurance model
Target-driven with focus on customer engagement
Ability to collaborate with bank staff and internal teams
Analytical mindset for tracking performance metrics
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business/Finance/Marketing)
1–3 years experience in insurance sales / bancassurance / financial sales
Prior exposure to bank partnerships is a plus
Drive revenue growth via the Union Bank of India – IndiaFirst Life Insurance channel.
Strengthen partner engagement, product awareness, and sales execution.
