Job Description

A Business Development Manager (BDM) job involves identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing strategic growth plans, and nurturing client relationships to increase revenue and market share. Key responsibilities include market research, lead generation, creating proposals and presentations, negotiating deals, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to achieve company objectives. This role requires strong strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with expertise in CRM software and a deep understanding of the industry and market trends. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Market Research:

    Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and target markets. 

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    Research and identify potential clients, building a pipeline of prospects through various channels. 

  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. 

  • Sales & Negotiation:

    Develop strategies to meet sales targets, create compelling proposals and presentations, and negotiate contracts. 

  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal teams, including sales, design, and marketing, to align strategies and develop products or services. 

  • Industry Monitoring:

    Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Track progress towards goals, analyze sales figures, and prepare reports for management.
