Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Revenue Generation
Identify, target, and acquire new clients across industries with hiring needs for roles above ₹10 LPA.
Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, references, and industry events.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Pitch recruitment services, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
Market & Industry Mapping
Conduct market research to identify companies with active hiring requirements in mid-to-senior roles.
Build a strong pipeline of potential clients in target sectors (IT, Non-IT, FMCG, Pharma, etc.).
Stay updated with hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and decision-makers.
Understand client hiring needs and align them with internal recruitment capabilities.
Ensure high client satisfaction through consistent communication and service delivery.
Collaboration with Recruitment Team
Work closely with recruiters to ensure proper understanding of client requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of quality candidates for open mandates.
Monitor closure ratios and optimize processes for better performance.
Contracting & Negotiation
Negotiate commercial terms, including fees (5%–8.33% or higher depending on role complexity).
Finalize agreements, NDAs, and service-level expectations with clients.
Ensure compliance with company policies and payment terms.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and closures.
Track KPIs such as client acquisition, revenue generated, conversion rates, and repeat business.
Provide regular updates and forecasts to management.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in business development within a staffing/recruitment agency.
Strong track record of acquiring and managing clients for roles with ₹10 LPA+ budgets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to independently generate leads and close deals.
Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle and hiring challenges.
Experience working with mid to senior-level hiring mandates.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network of HR leaders, founders, or decision-makers.
Experience in international client acquisition (US, UK, Middle East markets is a plus).
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools.
