Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The role primarily involves engaging with colleges, especially Training and Placement Officers (TPOs), to build strong partnerships and create opportunities for collaboration. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, relationship-building capabilities, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
College Engagement: Visit colleges to establish connections and present company offerings to TPOs.
Seminar Coordination: Secure seminar slots through effective persuasion and communication.
Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, maintain, and analyze college data to design effective strategies.
Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with TPOs and college representatives through regular follow-ups.
Reporting & Insights: Provide timely updates on engagement activities and share insights with management for strategic planning.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive approach to relationship-building and client engagement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements.
Data-driven mindset for decision-making and reporting.
Excellent command over English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in business development, campus engagement, or similar roles.
