Job Title: Business Development Executive – Chemical Industry

Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Strategy
Identify potential customers, market segments, and emerging trends within the chemical sector (e.g., specialty chemicals, industrial chemicals, petrochemicals, etc.).
Analyze competitors’ activities and industry developments to inform strategic planning.
Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
2. Sales & Business Development
Generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, and participation in industry events or exhibitions.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and distributors.
Provide after-sales support and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
Collect customer feedback to guide product development and service improvement.
4. Technical & Product Knowledge
Develop a strong understanding of the company’s chemical products, applications, and advantages.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams to customize products for specific client needs.
Provide technical guidance to clients on product usage, safety, and regulatory compliance.
5. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates for management.
Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client and sales data.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field (MBA in Marketing or International Business is a plus).
Experience: 0–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the chemical industry.
Skills:
Strong technical understanding of chemical products and applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Other: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
