Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Business Development Executive to promote and drive enrollments for our Online Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree Programs. You will be responsible for identifying potential students, counseling them about courses, and converting leads into enrollments through consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Conversion: Engage with leads generated through various marketing campaigns via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person (if applicable).
Counseling: Understand the educational background, career goals, and learning needs of prospective students to recommend suitable UG/PG programs.
Sales Closure: Follow up consistently, handle objections, and drive student enrollment targets.
CRM Management: Update and maintain records of leads, prospects, and sales activity using CRM tools.
Market Outreach: Identify new avenues for lead generation, such as educational fairs, webinars, partnerships with coaching centers, etc.
Feedback & Reporting: Provide feedback to marketing and product teams about student needs, objections, and market trends.
Collaboration: Coordinate with academic, operations, and student support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Education).
1–3 years of experience in B2C sales, academic counseling, or business development (preferably in the ed-tech or higher education sector).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Passion for education and career counseling.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of online degree programs and trends in digital education.
Multilingual abilities (Hindi, English, or regional languages).
Experience in telesales or inside sales for high-value services/products.
