Business Development Executive – HVAC & Air Conditioning
The Business Development Executive (BDE) in the HVAC and air conditioning sector is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting HVAC solutions (such as central AC systems, VRF/VRV systems, Ventilation Sysytem DX units, etc.). The role involves close coordination with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver tailored HVAC solutions to commercial, residential, and industrial clients.
Identify potential clients in target sectors (commercial buildings, residential complexes, industrial facilities, etc.)
Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, digital outreach, and industry events
Schedule and attend client meetings and site visits
Understand client requirements and propose appropriate HVAC solutions
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and technical proposals
Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet/exceed sales targets
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior
Identify new market segments and emerging opportunities
Work with marketing to develop campaigns and promotional materials
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
Serve as a point of contact between the client and technical/project teams
Provide after-sales support and resolve customer issues
Coordinate with engineering and project teams for solution design, pricing, and delivery timelines
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and industry trends
Proven track record in B2B or project-based sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business opportunities
Time management and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Technical knowledge or certification in HVAC is a plus
2–5 years of experience in HVAC, construction, or building services industry
HVAC / MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
Construction / Real Estate / Building Materials
Facility Management or Technical Services
Office-based with frequent client visits and site inspections
May require travel to project sites or vendor locations
