Business Development Executive

Job Responsibilities

1. Search and identify government and private-sector tenders related to solar energy projects.

2. Handle tender documentation, preparation, submission and follow-ups.

3. Work on government e-procurement portals, GeM portal and other tender websites.

4. Prepare technical and commercial bid documents as per tender requirements.

5. Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, BOQ, technical specifications and other required documents.

6. Ensure timely submission of tenders within the specified deadlines.

7. Maintain records of submitted tenders, EMD, PBG and tender results.

8. Monitor tender updates, corrigendums and amendments.

9. Coordinate with government departments, vendors and clients regarding tender-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream

• 1–4 years of experience in tendering, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy industry.

• Knowledge of GeM and government e-tendering portals.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and documentation.

• Strong communication, coordination and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of solar projects, BOQ and technical specifications will be an advantage.

Key Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Responsible for timely and error-free tender submissions.
