We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage the end-to-end tendering process. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, preparing bid documentation, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely and compliant submission of tenders. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Identify relevant tenders and opportunities through portals, newspapers, and client communications.
Study tender documents including scope of work, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, technical, finance) to gather input for bid submissions.
Prepare pre-qualification questionnaires, expressions of interest (EOIs), and final proposals.
Manage the submission process to ensure all deadlines are met and submissions comply with all requirements.
Maintain records of submitted tenders and track outcomes.
Handle post-tender activities such as clarifications, negotiations, and contract handovers.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and client requirements.
Maintain an up-to-date database of tenders, vendors, and pricing history.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in tendering, proposal writing, or contracts (industry-specific experience preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with e-procurement portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, Ariba) is an advantage.
Knowledge of pricing strategies and costing techniques.
Basic understanding of legal and contractual terms.
Experience in dealing with government/public sector tenders (if applicable).
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
