Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor government websites and tender portals (e.g., CPPP, GeM, eProcurement) for new tenders and opportunities.

  • Analyze tender requirements, eligibility, and scope of work.

  • Prepare tender documents including technical and financial bids in coordination with technical and finance teams.

  • Ensure timely submission of EMDs (Earnest Money Deposits), tender fees, and all necessary documents.

  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to gather information and certifications.

  • Maintain and update a database of submitted tenders and outcomes.

  • Follow up on bid status, respond to post-bid clarifications, and attend pre-bid or post-bid meetings as required.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal norms, and government guidelines.

  • Work with legal and finance departments to handle contract finalization post tender award.

  • Maintain proper documentation, digital records, and archiving of all tenders and correspondence.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in tendering or business development, preferably with exposure to government procurement.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of government tender portals and procedures.

    • Excellent communication, writing, and negotiation skills.

    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.


Preferred Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with public sector procurement laws (GFR, CVC guidelines, etc.).

  • Experience working with platforms like GeM, CPP Portal, e-Tendering systems.
