A Business Development Manager (BDM) drives company growth by finding new markets, building strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue streams.
Core Responsibilities
• Market Research & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, study competitors, and create plans to enter new territories.
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify new clients through networking, cold outreach, and referrals.
• Partnership Building: Form strategic alliances, Joint Venture Agreements, and long-term client relationships.
• Deal Negotiation: Prepare sales proposals, pitch decks, and commercial contracts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams to align growth goals.
Key Skills & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred for specialized sectors).
• Experience: Typically 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
