We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to help expand our customer base in the field of customs clearance, import/export, and logistics solutions. This role requires understanding client needs, building relationships, and promoting our CHA services.
Identify and approach potential clients (importers/exporters, manufacturers, traders)
Understand client requirements related to customs clearance and logistics
Promote our CHA, freight forwarding, and allied services
Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business
Follow up on leads, make cold calls, and schedule meetings
Prepare proposals and coordinate with operations for smooth service delivery
Track and report sales performance weekly
Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of shipping terms like FOB, CIF, HS Code, etc.
Self-motivated and result-oriented
Fluent in English and local language
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Email, CRM)
Existing client network in logistics or international trade
Experience in B2B sales or industrial sales
Knowledge of CHA processes, Icegate, and DGFT
