Business Development Executive

We are hiring a Sales & Business Executive to own our IndiaMART channel end-to-end. The core of the role is calling and following up with incoming leads until closure — alongside managing the seller account, catalogue, and channel performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Call and follow up with all incoming leads which includes understanding buyer requirements, quantities, timelines & negotiations until closure — this is the core of the role.

• Own and continuously improve the IndiaMART seller dashboard — catalogue quality, keyword, pricing, responsiveness score.

• Build and manage a pipeline of repeat B2B buyers sourced via the channel.

• Track leads, calls, and deal status in CRM/Excel; maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence until closure.

• Coordinate with production dispatch teams to confirm stock availability and delivery timelines.

• Analyze channel performance, identify gaps versus competitors and report regularly with recommendations.

• Represent the IndiaMART channel in planning discussions with the founder directly.

Requirements

• Prior Experience in a sales or operations role (preferably in B2B) is a plus.

• Comfortable with disciplined & persistent follow-up.

• Fluency in English & Hindi (fluency in Telugu is a plus).

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

• Soft-spoken, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach to customers.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Basic Proficiency with Excel.
