Job Description

A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving a company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and increasing revenue.


🔹 Core Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through market research

  • Generate leads via calls, emails, site visits, networking

  • Maintain and update CRM database

  • Qualify prospects based on company criteria

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients

  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions

  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and site visits

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms

  • Close deals and convert leads into customer

4. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity

  • Identify new markets, segments, or product opportunities

  • Provide feedback to management on pricing and demand

5. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work with technical/engineering team for product specifications

  • Coordinate with operations for order execution

  • Follow up on delivery timelines and after-sales service

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports

  • Track pipeline, conversions, and revenue forecasts

  • Maintain proper documentation of contracts and agreements
