
Business Development Executive (BDE)
Milkbasket
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding Milkbasket’s customer base and vendor network in assigned territories. The role involves identifying potential customers, onboarding them to the Milkbasket platform, building relationships with local vendors, and ensuring smooth service adoption.
Identify and approach potential residential customers and apartment communities.
Promote Milkbasket’s subscription-based daily grocery and milk delivery service.
Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and onboarding of new users.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly customer acquisition targets.
Identify and onboard local vendors, dairy suppliers, and FMCG partners.
Build long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability.
Conduct local market research to identify growth opportunities.
Support expansion initiatives in new residential societies or areas.
Analyze competitor activities and report insights to the management team.
Address customer concerns during onboarding and early usage stages.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and market feedback.
Submit daily and weekly performance reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
0–3 years experience in sales, field sales, or business development
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in field sales environments
Familiarity with mobile apps and digital platforms
Target-driven and self-motivated
