Role and Responsibilities:
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients; meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone
• have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
• liaise with the finance team, production and logistics departments as appropriate
• Innovate the strategies of improving the way the business operates
• research and attend seminars, conferences and events to build the business's network and profile
• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy
• Work with sales and marketing teams
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
• Take responsibility for the entire sales for assigned team. Outbound calls, follow-ups.
• Ensure timely collection of revenue from clients.
• Fulfilment of Sales quota monthly via New Sales acquisition.
• Pro-actively initiate and engage sales calls to new prospects.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; Site visits and closing deal by regular follow ups
