Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities in electronics, instrumentation, automation, and process industries.
Generate leads through cold calling, emails, industry networking, exhibitions, and client visits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and channel partners.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
Technical & Solution Selling
Understand customer processes and translate technical requirements into suitable electronics solutions.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and application teams to design customized solutions.
Assist clients with product selection, specifications, compliance, and application feasibility.
Market & Industry Analysis
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in electronics and chemical/process industries.
Analyze competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
Identify potential sectors such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, FMCG, oil & gas, water treatment, and manufacturing.
Commercial & Documentation
Prepare proposals, quotations, tenders, and techno-commercial documents.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines with customers.
Ensure proper handover to operations and post-sales teams for smooth execution.
Reporting & CRM
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems.
Track sales pipeline, revenue targets, and customer feedback.
Provide regular sales and market reports to management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
Strong understanding of industrial processes and technical systems.
Basic knowledge of electronics products such as sensors, control systems, instrumentation, panels, or automation solutions is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal & written).
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Commercial awareness and result-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
