Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Outreach:

  • Engage with prospective customers via phone calls, emails, and marketing channels.

  • Generate leads through cold calling, inbound inquiries, and marketing campaigns.

  • Qualify leads based on customers’ health needs and financial requirements.

2. Product Presentation & Advisory:

  • Explain the benefits and features of health insurance policies.

  • Provide personalized recommendations based on customer needs.

  • Address customer queries regarding policy coverage, premiums, and exclusions.

3. Sales Conversion & Negotiation:

  • Persuade customers to purchase health insurance plans, ensuring value-driven sales.

  • Handle objections and negotiate terms effectively.

  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations while closing deals.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Follow up with leads to improve conversion rates and ensure satisfaction.

  • Update customer interactions in CRM software for seamless tracking.

5. Documentation & Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate recording of sales transactions per industry standards.

  • Collect required customer documentation for policy issuance.

  • Stay informed on industry regulations and insurance policies.

6. Target Achievement & Performance Tracking:

  • Meet and exceed individual sales KPIs and revenue goals.

  • Work closely with the sales manager to optimize performance.

7. Team Collaboration & Market Insights:

  • Share insights with the sales team to refine strategies and improve customer engagement.

  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams regarding customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).

  • 1-3 years of experience in tele-sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.

  • Exceptional communication skills in English (written & verbal).

  • Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to meet targets.

  • Basic knowledge of health insurance products & industry regulations.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office tools.

  • Self-motivated and goal-driven attitude.

  • Relationship-Building: Ability to develop long-term client engagement strategies.

  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Ability to handle objections and close deals.
