Job Overview:
Edwin Incorporation is seeking a proactive and articulate Business Development Executive (BDE) to support our growing portfolio in academic conferences and book publication services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client acquisition, relationship management, and promoting our conference and publishing solutions globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and connect with potential clients (researchers, academicians, institutions, authors)
Promote conference participation, journal publications, and book publishing services
Handle inbound and outbound communication (calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.)
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Guide clients through the end-to-end process of conference registration and publication
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions
Collaborate with internal teams for smooth service delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written English is mandatory)
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
Basic understanding of academic publishing/conferences (preferred but not mandatory)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Good organizational and time-management skills
Comfortable using tools like MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM tools
Experience:
1–3 years in Business Development / Sales / Telecalling / Academic Support
