Job Description

A Bank Officer for CASA (Current & Savings Accounts) at AU Small Finance Bank focuses on acquiring new customers, opening accounts, meeting sales targets, and cross-selling other financial products (like insurance, loans, mutual funds) while building strong customer relationships, ensuring compliance (KYC/AML), and managing account activation and balances, essentially driving liability business growth through proactive sales and service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Source new CASA and Salary accounts through cold calling, market references, and micro-marketing.

  • Account Management: Open, activate accounts, ensure M0 balance (minimum balance), and link services like UPI.

  • Sales & Cross-selling: Identify opportunities and sell other bank products (Insurance, Mortgages, UL, SIPs, MFs).

  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with new clients and internal teams.

  • Sales Activities: Implement marketing, participate in corporate events, and conduct market research.

  • Reporting: Maintain daily activity logs and sales reports.

  • Compliance: Adhere to KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) norms. 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Understanding of banking products and financial services.

  • Self-motivation, positive attitude, and ability to meet targets.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Bachelor's degree (often preferred).
