Brand Manager
Job Description
A Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies that build a strong, consistent brand presence in the market. They oversee all branding activities to ensure the brand’s identity, messaging, and customer experience align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
• Develop and execute long-term brand strategies to increase awareness, loyalty, and market share.
• Define and refine the brand’s value proposition, identity, and positioning vs. competitors.
• Ensure brand guidelines are created, maintained, and followed across all channels.
2. Marketing Campaign Management
• Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, social media).
• Collaborate with creative, media, and advertising agencies to produce brand-aligned content.
• Manage budgets and timelines for branding initiatives.
3. Consumer & Market Research
• Analyze consumer insights, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Use research data to refine strategy and guide creative direction.
• Identify opportunities for brand growth and market expansion.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration
• Work closely with product, sales, design, communications, and customer experience teams.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints.
• Support product launches with branding strategy and materials.
5. Brand Performance Monitoring
• Track KPIs such as brand awareness, perception, engagement, and campaign performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership teams.
• Recommend improvements based on performance metrics.
6. Content & Messaging Oversight
• Ensure all brand storytelling and content align with brand voice and mission.
• Review and approve design assets, copy, packaging, and promotional materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
3–7 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or advertising
Strong understanding of brand strategy and consumer behavior
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
Creative thinking paired with strong analytical abilities
Project management and leadership skills
Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM, social insights)
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or advanced marketing certification
• Experience working with creative agencies
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and content strategy
