Job Purpose:
The Banking Officer will be responsible for enhancing customer experience, increasing customer base, and cross-selling bank products. The role demands a mix of customer servicing, sales, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Relationship Management
Provide high-quality service to existing customers.
Address walk-in customer queries and requests promptly.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
Promote digital banking solutions to customers.
Sales & Business Development
Identify and acquire new customers for CASA (Current Account/Savings Account), FD/RD, and other retail products.
Cross-sell third-party products such as insurance, mutual funds, etc.
Meet assigned targets on new customer acquisition, product penetration, and revenue generation.
Operations & Compliance
Ensure timely processing of account opening, KYC updates, and other transactions.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance with RBI and bank guidelines.
Participate in audits and ensure adherence to all operational and compliance norms.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of new CASA accounts opened.
Cross-sell ratio (insurance, loans, mutual funds).
Customer satisfaction scores.
Adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) and compliance norms.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales orientation with a customer-first attitude.
Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
0–3 years of experience in banking/financial services/sales will be preferred.
