Job description:
We are opening a new furniture showroom at Baharaich. We actively seeking a branch manager and sales staff along with 2 support person.
Branch manager oversees daily operations, drives sales targets, and ensures high customer satisfaction. Key duties include managing staff (hiring/training), inventory control, visual merchandising, and implementing marketing strategies. They need strong leadership, sales experience (preferably in furniture/interiors), and financial acumen to boost profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Operations: Drive sales performance, meet monthly/quarterly targets, and manage daily store operations, including opening/closing.
Staff Management: Lead, train, mentor, and schedule sales associates to maintain a high-performance, motivated team.
Customer Experience: Resolve customer complaints and queries, ensuring excellent service to foster repeat business.
Merchandising & Inventory: Optimize showroom layout to boost sales and manage stock levels, including restocking and coordinating with suppliers.
Reporting & Analysis: Analyze sales data to forecast trends and report on performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Previous retail management experience, with a strong preference for experience in furniture or home decor.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is commonly required.
Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal communication, negotiation, and computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, inventory systems).
Common Requirements
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of interior design or furniture materials is often a plus.
