Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Assistant to spearhead our lead generation efforts for our Social Media Marketing services. Your primary role will be to identify potential clients, initiate contact through research and cold calling, and qualify them for our sales pipeline. This is a crucial role that directly contributes to the growth of our company. This is not a traditional administrative assistant role; it is a proactive sales and research position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Prospecting & Research:
Systematically research and identify potential clients (small companies, doctors, hospitals, local stores, beauty parlours, salons, cafes, etc.) across Gujarat using online tools, business directories, social media (Instagram, Facebook), and Google Search.
Build and maintain a clean, organized database of these potential leads with accurate contact information.
Cold Calling & Outreach:
Conduct a high volume of cold calls to prospective clients with the goal of introducing Rivavya LLP's social media marketing services.
Clearly and confidently articulate our value proposition: how our narrative-driven, hyperlocal marketing approach can help their business grow.
Handle initial objections and effectively answer basic questions about our services.
Lead Qualification:
Qualify leads based on their needs, budget potential, and interest level.
The primary goal of the call is to identify interest and book a follow-up discovery meeting or presentation with the Founder.
Database Management:
Meticulously track all activities, call notes, and lead statuses in our CRM or Excel spreadsheet.
Reporting:
Provide daily or weekly reports on key metrics: number of calls made, contacts reached, meetings scheduled, and leads qualified.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent Communication Skills: Must be fluent and confident in Gujarati and have professional proficiency in Hindi/English. A clear, persuasive, and friendly phone manner is essential.
Resilience & Tenacity: Must be comfortable with making cold calls and not be discouraged by rejection. A positive, persistent attitude is key.
Proactive & Self-Motivated: You must be a go-getter who can work independently to find leads and achieve targets without constant supervision.
Good Research Skills: Ability to effectively use the internet and social media to find information about businesses and identify decision-makers.
Organized: Strong organizational skills to manage a large database of leads and track follow-ups systematically.
Basic Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and comfortable learning new software (CRM).
Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for a candidate with the right attitude and skills.
