Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth: Drive sales targets through team leadership, implementing sales plans, and recruiting/developing agency leaders and advisors (BDMs, LAs).
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, coach, and motivate sales teams to improve productivity and skill sets.
Operations Management: Oversee daily branch activities, workflow, compliance, and service delivery (SLA adherence).
Customer Management: Manage customer relationships, handle queries, and resolve issues to ensure retention and satisfaction.
Reporting & Strategy: Monitor performance metrics, analyse competitor activities, and report to senior management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and IRDAI (or relevant regulatory) guidelines.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 10+ years Proven track record in insurance/sales, with management experience preferred.
Leadership: Strong ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
Sales Acumen: Expertise in life insurance products, sales management, and agency/direct channel development.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
Education: Bachelor's degree often required.
