The Assistant Sales Manager will support revenue growth by managing contractor relationships, generating new leads, ensuring CRM discipline, coordinating with plant & operations team, and ensuring smooth order execution of RMC supplies.
This role requires strong field presence, follow-up capability, and coordination between Sales, Dispatch, Plant & Accounts.
Generate new business from contractors, builders, developers & government projects.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (CUM-based targets).
Promote JMR’s quality-tested RMC, NABL lab assurance, and technical advantages.
Ensure advance payment collection before casting (as per company policy).
Convert site enquiries into confirmed orders.
Maintain regular follow-ups with existing clients.
Conduct site visits for relationship building and requirement analysis.
Resolve client concerns related to delivery, grade, slump, and quantity.
Build long-term contractor partnerships.
Daily CRM updating (Lead status, follow-ups, order stage).
Submit daily sales activity report.
Share weekly pipeline & conversion report.
Track competitor rates and market trends.
Coordinate with Plant Manager for production planning.
Coordinate with Dispatch team for on-time delivery.
Ensure proper communication regarding grade, quantity & pumping requirement.
Work with Accounts team for payment follow-up & reconciliation.
Identify new construction zones within 80 KM radius.
Collect project intelligence (upcoming slabs, commercial projects, villas).
Build network with site engineers, architects & PMC consultants.
