Job Profile: ASM – Marketing (PVC Board Distribution)
Role Objective
To drive sales growth, expand market presence, and strengthen distributor/retailer relationships for PVC boards within the assigned territory, ensuring revenue targets and brand visibility are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales & Revenue Growth
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for PVC boards.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base (dealers, distributors, contractors, architects).
• Market Development
• Conduct market research to understand demand trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote PVC boards in the region.
• Channel Management
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers.
• Ensure proper stock availability and timely supply chain coordination.
• Promotions & Branding
• Organize trade meets, product demos, and awareness programs for carpenters, contractors, and architects.
• Implement local marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility.
• Team Leadership
• Guide and motivate sales executives or field staff in the territory.
• Provide training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling.
• Reporting & Analysis
• Maintain MIS reports on sales, collections, and competitor activities.
• Provide feedback to senior management for strategy refinement.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of building materials market (PVC boards, laminates, plywood, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage distribution networks and handle channel conflicts.
• Analytical mindset for sales forecasting and market analysis.
• Leadership qualities to manage and motivate a team.
Qualifications
• Graduate/MBA in Marketing or Business Administration.
• 5–8 years of experience in sales & marketing of building materials (preferably PVC boards, plywood, or related products).
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
