Job Purpose:

The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for driving B2B sales of HDPE pipes, expanding the customer base, developing distributor/dealer networks, and ensuring sales targets are met within the assigned territory. The role involves business development, client relationship management, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales

   • Identify and approach potential B2B clients such as contractors, builders, government departments, infrastructure companies, and industrial buyers.

   • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

   • Generate new business opportunities and increase market share in the assigned territory.

2. Client Relationship Management

   • Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and new clients.

   • Regularly meet clients for product presentations, negotiations, and order finalization.

   • Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Dealer & Distributor Network Management

   • Appoint and manage distributors/dealers for HDPE pipe sales.

   • Support channel partners with product training, marketing materials, and sales assistance.

   • Ensure proper stock availability and timely supply to distributors/clients.

4. Payment & Collection Follow-up

   • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients and distributors.

   • Coordinate with the accounts team for payment tracking and outstanding clearance.

5. Order & Dispatch Coordination

   • Coordinate with production and logistics teams for timely order processing and dispatch.

   • Monitor supply chain efficiency and resolve dispatch-related issues.

6. Market Research & Reporting

   • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

   • Share regular sales reports, customer feedback, and market intelligence with management.

   • Suggest strategies to increase product penetration in the region.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of HDPE pipes / plastic pipes industry preferred.

• B2B sales experience (construction, infrastructure, water supply, or related industries).

• Ability to manage distributor/dealer networks.

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate (preferably in Business/Engineering/Science).

• 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales of pipes, construction materials, or industrial products.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
