Job Summary:

As an Area Sales Officer at HDFC Life, you will be responsible for driving life insurance sales in a designated geographic area. You will manage a team or channel partners (depending on channel), achieve business targets, maintain customer relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales targets for life insurance products through assigned channels (Agency/Bancassurance/Direct/Corporate, etc.)

• Recruit, train, and motivate agents or partners (for Agency/Direct channels)

• Build strong relationships with bank staff (for Bancassurance channel)

• Ensure high conversion rates through effective lead management and follow-ups

• Drive business through field activities, customer meetings, and area-level promotional activities

• Conduct regular performance reviews and training for the sales team or agents

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal process guidelines

• Prepare and submit reports on sales performance and market feedback.
