Role Summary
The Admission Counselor will play a key role in guiding prospective students and parents through the admission journey. The candidate will be responsible for student counseling, admission handling, parent engagement, and promoting the institution through offline and digital channels. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a welcoming personality, and a passion for education and student success.
Key Responsibilities
Student Admissions & Counseling
Guide parents and students regarding courses, programs, fee structure, and admission procedures.
Counsel prospective families through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
Handle admission inquiries and convert leads into enrollments.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students and parents.
Admission Process Management
Manage the complete admission cycle from inquiry to enrollment.
Assist families in filling admission forms and documentation.
Schedule demo classes, counseling sessions, interviews, and campus visits.
Maintain proper admission records and student databases.
Marketing & Outreach
Support promotional activities, events, workshops, and admission campaigns.
Coordinate with the marketing team for social media promotions and lead generation activities.
Participate in school events, cultural programs, and community outreach initiatives.
Follow up with leads generated through digital marketing campaigns.
Communication & Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with parents, students, and educational communities.
Respond promptly to queries through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain daily admission reports and follow-up records.
Track admission targets and enrollment performance.
Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth admission operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Business Administration, Counseling, or related field preferred.
Skills Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counseling and convincing abilities.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
Good understanding of social media and digital communication.
Ability to multitask and manage student databases efficiently.
Preferred Experience
Experience in admissions, education counseling, tele-calling, customer relationship management, or school administration will be an advantage.
Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
