Sales Admission Counsellor

Job Summary

Basant Valley Global School is looking for a dynamic, confident, and result-oriented Admission Counsellor to manage admission enquiries, counsel prospective parents, conduct school tours, and convert enquiries into successful admissions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle admission enquiries received through phone calls, walk-ins, website, social media, and other marketing channels.

- Counsel prospective parents regarding the school's curriculum, facilities, teaching methodology, fee structure, and admission process.

- Follow up regularly with prospective parents to convert enquiries into admissions.

- Schedule and conduct campus visits and school tours for parents and students.

- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, visits, applications, and admission conversions in the CRM or designated database.

- Coordinate with the admissions team, teachers, and school administration to ensure a smooth admission experience.

- Support admission campaigns, school events, promotional activities, and community outreach initiatives.

- Generate admission leads through parent referrals, society outreach, and local networking activities.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on enquiries, follow-ups, campus visits, and conversions.

- Ensure a positive parent experience and maintain professional communication throughout the admission journey.

- Work towards assigned admission targets and contribute to the school's overall enrolment growth.

Eligibility & Skills Required

- Graduate in any discipline; a background in Education, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.

- 1–4 years of experience in admissions, counselling, sales, customer service, or a similar role. School admissions experience will be an advantage.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

- Strong convincing, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, email, and CRM tools.

- Ability to manage multiple enquiries, maintain follow-up discipline, and work with measurable targets.

- Presentable, proactive, organised, and parent-friendly personality

- Number of enquiries handled and followed up.

- Enquiry-to-campus-visit conversion rate.

- Campus-visit-to-admission conversion rate.

- Achievement of monthly and annual admission targets.

- Timely updating and accuracy of admission records.

- Parent satisfaction and quality of counselling.

- Effectiveness of referral generation and local outreach.
