Admissions Counsellor — Skill Development Department
We RKPC Innovation Building Technology Pvt Ltd. are hiring an Admissions Counsellor to support the Skill Development Department in student recruitment, admission processing, and pre-enrolment guidance.
Purpose
Provide prospective students with accurate information about courses, admissions processes, and funding; convert enquiries into enrollments; and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead generation & follow-up: Respond to inbound enquiries (phone, email, walk-ins, social media) and proactively follow up with prospective candidates.
Counselling & conversion: Assess candidate needs, advise on suitable courses, career outcomes, and program levels; convert enquiries into confirmed admissions.
Application support: Guide candidates through application, documentation, eligibility checks, and fee/payment processes.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate records in the CRM/SIS, track lead status, and update admissions pipelines daily.
Coordination: Liaise with training faculty, finance, and operations to ensure smooth candidate onboarding and scheduling.
Information sessions: Conduct group/one-to-one information sessions, campus tours, and virtual webinars as needed.
Reporting: Provide daily/weekly admissions reports, lead source analysis, and suggestions to improve conversion.
Quality & compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations; maintain confidentiality of candidate data.
Outreach: Participate in local outreach, partnerships with employers/centres, and school/college visits to drive enrollment.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). Diploma/Certification in counselling, sales, or career guidance preferred.
Language: Proficiency in English and local language(s) relevant to your recruitment area.
