Job Summary: The Academic Counselor drives student enrollment by effectively counseling prospective students, managing the admissions process, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This role is key to student acquisition and overall institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions & Counseling: Conduct comprehensive counseling sessions to convert inquiries into admissions. Provide detailed information on programs, fees, and career paths. Initiate and participate in recruitment campaigns.
Application & Enrollment: Oversee the entire admission process, from inquiry to enrollment. Process applications, maintain accurate student records, and track enrollment data.
Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate student data and prepare regular admissions reports. Optimize processes for efficiency and ensure compliance with policies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
Experience: [X] years in academic counseling or admissions, preferably in education. Tele-counseling experience is a plus.
Skills: Excellent communication (English and [local language]), strong interpersonal and counseling skills, results-driven, organized, proficient in MS Office and CRM.
