The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about programs, requirements, and campus life, and helping to enroll qualified applicants. This role involves building relationships with prospective students, answering queries, organizing admissions events, and supporting the overall recruitment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective students via phone, email, and in-person to provide detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements.
Assist applicants in completing admission forms and gathering necessary documentation.
Conduct admissions interviews and assess candidates' qualifications.
Maintain and update the applicant database and track admission progress.
Collaborate with academic departments and marketing teams to develop outreach strategies.
Follow up with applicants to encourage timely submission of materials and enrollment decisions.
Provide support and guidance to students and families throughout the admissions process.
Stay informed about changes in admission policies, academic offerings, and financial aid options.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Experience in counseling, admissions, or student services is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Work Environment:
Office-based role with frequent interaction with prospective students and families.
