Job Purpose
The Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining attractive
product displays across all garment showrooms to maximize customer engagement, enhance the
brand image, and increase sales. The role ensures that all stores consistently follow the
company's visual merchandising standards and promotional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising
• Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies in line with brand guidelines.
• Design attractive window displays, mannequins, and in-store product presentations.
• Ensure proper product placement to maximize customer attention and sales.
• Refresh displays regularly based on seasonal collections, promotions, and new arrivals.
• Maintain high visual standards across all showroom sections.
Store Presentation
• Conduct regular VM audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, lighting, signage, fixtures, and display materials.
• Coordinate with store managers to implement VM changes on time.
• Ensure promotional materials are displayed accurately.
Inventory & Product Coordination
• Coordinate with the merchandising and warehouse teams for display stock requirements.
• Monitor stock availability for featured displays.
• Ensure damaged or outdated display materials are replaced promptly.
Team Management
• Train showroom staff on VM standards and product presentation.
• Guide store teams on merchandise folding, hanging, sizing, and replenishment.
• Support store openings, renovations, and promotional events.
Planning & Analysis
• Analyze sales trends and customer buying behaviour to improve product displays.
• Recommend display changes to improve product visibility and sales performance.
• Prepare periodic VM reports with photographs and observations.
Coordination
• Work closely with Buying, Marketing, Operations, and Store Teams.
• Coordinate with vendors for signage, fixtures, graphics, and display materials.
