✅ Key Responsibilities
👋 1. Customer Interaction
Greet walk-in customers with warmth and professionalism. Understand customer needs, preferences, and budget. Suggest appropriate gold jewellery items (chains, rings, earrings, bangles, bridal sets, etc.). Educate customers on gold purity (22KT, 24KT), hallmarking, and pricing.
💵 2. Sales & Conversion Convince
customers and close high-value sales. Meet individual sales targets set by the showroom manager. Promote upselling and cross-selling (e.g., matching earrings or add-on accessories).
📦 3. Product Handling Handle
jewellery items with care and ensure proper display after trials. Keep display counters organized, attractive, and updated.
📋 4. Documentation & Billing
Assist in generating bills, checking weights, making entries in POS software. Maintain records of sales and customer details for follow-up.
💬 5. Customer Service
Answer customer queries related to exchange, return, or repair policies. Ensure after-sales service and build customer loyalty.
📈 6. Team Collaboration
Coordinate with Floor Incharge and Inventory staff for product availability. Help junior executives with customer handling if required.
🛠️ Skills Required
Strong communication & convincing skills Deep knowledge of gold jewellery designs and purity standards Understanding of pricing based on weight, making charges, and taxes Familiarity with POS/billing software Confidence and presence on the showroom floor.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience Education
Minimum 12th pass or Graduate (Preferred: Commerce or Business background) Experience: 2–4 years in jewellery or retail sales
