
Position: Store Officer / Store Keeper
Location: Chennai – Construction Site
Experience Required: 2 – 3 years (construction store experience preferred)
Mode of Interview: Virtual / In-Person
Notice Period: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against POs and delivery documents.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of site materials.
• Issue materials to site teams based on authorized requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records, GRNs, issue registers, and daily consumption reports.
• Track tools and equipment issued to workers/subcontractors.
• Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and vendors for material planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and audit requirements.
• Conduct periodic stock checks and assist in material reconciliation.
Key Skills:
• Knowledge of construction materials (civil/MEP).
• Inventory management and material control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
