Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overall store operations, including sales performance, team management, customer experience, inventory control, and adherence to company standards. The role ensures smooth store functioning while driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations
Oversee day-to-day store activities and ensure smooth functioning
Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and display standards
Ensure compliance with SOPs, audit requirements, and safety standards
2. Sales & Revenue Management
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Monitor footfall conversion and average billing value
Drive upselling, cross-selling, and in-store promotions
3. Team Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff (TLs, Associates, Cashiers, Delivery Staff)
Manage staff rostering, attendance, and productivity
Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews
4. Inventory & Stock Control
Ensure accurate stock management and availability
Monitor shrinkage, wastage, and expiry management
Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams
5. Customer Experience
Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations
Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction
Build customer loyalty and repeat business
6. Financial & Compliance
Manage cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily closing
Ensure adherence to company policies and audit processes
Monitor store expenses and cost control

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (Retail/Business preferred)
3–6 years of experience in retail/store management
Strong leadership and team handling skills
Good communication and problem-solving ability
