About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead and manage our footwear store in Thane. The role demands a strong leader with proven expertise in retail operations, sales achievement, and team management. The candidate must have a background in handling premium/lifestyle/footwear or apparel brands and the ability to drive business growth through operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall store operations ensuring smooth daily functioning.

Drive sales and ensure achievement of monthly and annual revenue targets.

Develop strategies to improve footfall conversion, upselling, and cross-selling.

Supervise and mentor store staff, set performance goals, and conduct regular training.

Manage visual merchandising and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.

Optimize inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.

Monitor KPIs – sales per sq. ft., ATV (Average Transaction Value), UPT (Units per Transaction).

Handle customer escalations, ensure superior service standards, and build customer loyalty.

Prepare sales reports, analyze business trends, and suggest improvements.

Maintain compliance with audit, HR, and company policies.

Requirements

Education: Graduate / MBA (preferred but not mandatory if experienced).

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in retail operations, with at least 1-2 years as a Store Manager (footwear, lifestyle, or premium retail brands preferred).

Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.

Proven track record of meeting sales and profitability targets.

Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of retail KPIs and store operations.

Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and peak seasons.
