Retail Sales Store Manager

About the Role

Rabbit Stationery Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material receipts and dispatches, and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, inventory management, and team-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily store and warehouse operations efficiently.

• Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, and other store items.

• Supervise material receiving, inspection, storage, issue, and dispatch activities.

• Ensure all inward and outward material transactions are properly documented.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Accounts, and Dispatch departments.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

• Prevent material damage, shortages, pilferage, and unnecessary wastage.

• Ensure proper material identification, labelling, storage, and FIFO practices wherever applicable.

• Maintain stock registers, GRN records, material issue slips, and other inventory documents.

• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and systematic storage arrangements.

• Lead and supervise store staff and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

• Prepare inventory reports and submit stock status updates to management.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during stock verification and audits.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Graduate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Stores Management, or a relevant field preferred.

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing company.

• Good knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material documentation.

• Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management software or ERP systems.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
