About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and well-spoken Store Manager to take full ownership of our store's daily operations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can engage customers confidently, manage stock accurately, and actively generate business through outbound calling. You will be the face of the store and the driving force behind its sales and smooth functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end daily store operations, including opening/closing, staffing, and housekeeping standards

• Handle stock keeping: receiving goods, maintaining inventory records, conducting regular stock audits, minimizing shrinkage, and ensuring timely reordering

• Drive walk-in sales through excellent customer interaction and product knowledge

• Conduct cold calls to prospective customers and dealers to generate leads, follow up on enquiries, and convert them into sales

• Maintain accurate records of sales, billing, and cash handling

• Coordinate with suppliers and the back office for stock replenishment and dispatches

• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction

• Guide and supervise store staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance

• Share regular sales and inventory reports with management

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)

• Experience: Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar store management role in the same profile/industry

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in [English / Hindi]; confident and persuasive in customer-facing conversations

• Stock Keeping: Hands-on knowledge of inventory management, stock records, and stock audits

• Cold Calling: Demonstrated ability and comfort with outbound/cold calling to generate business

• Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, billing/POS software)

• Strong ownership mindset, discipline, and problem-solving ability

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience in [consumer electronics / lighting / relevant category] retail

• Familiarity with inventory or ERP software

• Existing network of local dealers or customers

Compensation

• Salary: 20K to 30K per month, commensurate with experience

• Incentives on sales targets applicable.

• It is a Full Time Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
