Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage 4-6 sales staff, and ensure smooth functioning of our clothing store. The Manager will be responsible for executing the owner's instructions, maintaining discipline, driving sales, and reporting store performance regularly.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Staff Management
Supervise and lead a team of 4 sales staff.
Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed on time.
Maintain staff discipline, attendance, and work quality.
Train staff on customer handling and sales techniques.

Sales & Customer Service

Ensure the store meets daily and monthly sales targets.
Support staff during peak hours to improve conversions.
Handle customer escalations professionally.
Inventory & Store Maintenance
Manage stock levels, ensure proper display and merchandise arrangement.
Coordinate with the owner about new stock, shortages, and fast-moving items.
Maintain cleanliness and store hygiene.

Reporting & Coordination

Provide daily/weekly reports to the owner on sales, staff performance, and store issues.
Maintain simple Excel sheets for stock, expenses, and targets.

Field Visits

Visit factories, wholesalers, or institutions once a week to support bulk order collection and procurement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Atleast 12th pass (a graduate will be given preference)
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in retail or wholesale clothing stores (note: experience mandatorily required in clothing store)
Experience managing a team is mandatory.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Basic computer knowledge: MS Excel, WhatsApp, email, etc.
Should be comfortable travelling locally for factory/institution visits.
