Job Description for Store Manager
1. Sales & Customer Experience
Drive department sales and achieve assigned targets.
Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer escalations effectively.
Monitor conversion, average billing value, and add-on sales.
Promote ongoing offers, schemes, and loyalty programs.
2. Team Management
Supervise, train, and motivate department staff.
Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate floor coverage.
Conduct regular briefings and on-the-job training.
Monitor staff grooming, attendance, and performance.
3. Store Operations
Ensure smooth daily operations of the department.
Maintain VM standards as per brand guidelines.
Ensure product availability, proper tagging, and shelf replenishment.
Coordinate with the back-end team for stock movement and replenishment.
4. Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels, fast/slow-moving SKUs, and shrinkage.
Conduct cycle counts and support stock audits.
Ensure FIFO and proper stock handling.
5. Compliance & Process Adherence
Follow company SOPs, safety, and loss prevention guidelines.
Ensure billing, returns, and exchanges are done as per policy.
Maintain discipline and store hygiene standards.
6. Reporting & Coordination
Share daily/weekly sales and stock reports with the Store Manager.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth store operations.
Support store-level initiatives and campaigns.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Qualification & Experience:
Any graduate (preferred)
2–5 years of experience in organized retail
Prior experience as a Team Lead / Senior Executive / Department Supervisor is an advantage
