Position: Store Manager

Industry: Retail - Clothing Showroom

Location: Aruppukottai

Working Hours: 10 Hours per Day

Salary: ₹15,000 per month (Based on Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and responsible Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clothing showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing store activities, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining product displays, and supporting the sales team to achieve business targets. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a passion for retail sales.

Qualification

•Any Degree (UG / PG)

•Candidates with interest in Retail / Sales / Showroom Management are preferred.

Experience

•0 to 2 Years of Experience in retail, sales, or showroom operations.

•Freshers with good communication skills and interest in retail management can also apply.

Key Responsibilities

1.Store Operations Management

•Manage and supervise the daily operations of the clothing showroom.

•Ensure the store opens and closes on time and runs smoothly throughout the day.

•Maintain store discipline and ensure staff follow company policies.

2.Customer Service & Sales

•Welcome and assist customers in selecting suitable clothing products.

•Understand customer requirements and provide product recommendations.

•Ensure customers receive a positive shopping experience.

•Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

3.Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

•Ensure clothing items are properly displayed, arranged, and organized.

•Maintain showroom cleanliness and an attractive store environment.

•Ensure mannequins, racks, and displays are updated regularly to attract customers.

4.Inventory & Stock Management

•Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability in the store.

•Coordinate with the inventory or warehouse team for stock replenishment.

•Assist in stock checking, stock entry, and maintaining accurate records.

5.Staff Supervision & Coordination

•Guide and support showroom staff in daily tasks.

•Ensure team members provide excellent customer service.

•Help train new staff members about store operations and sales procedures.

6.Billing & Cash Handling

•Ensure accurate billing and payment processing.

•Handle cash transactions responsibly and maintain daily cash records.

•Support the accounts or billing team in maintaining financial accuracy.

7.Reporting & Communication

•Provide daily updates about sales performance and store activities to the management.

•Report any issues related to stock, staff, or customer complaints to the management.

Required Skills

•Ability to manage a team and coordinate tasks effectively.

•Basic computer knowledge for billing or store management systems.
