Retail Sales Store Manager

As an Assistant Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of your assigned department within the store. You will ensure smooth store operations, achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and effectively manage the store team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle store opening and closing activities.

• Monitor daily store operations and housekeeping.

• Conduct floor inspections and ensure the store is well-maintained.

• Review the previous day's sales, discuss targets with the team, and achieve daily sales goals.

• Supervise Sales Associates, Sales Officers, Department Managers, and cashiers.

• Plan staff shifts and manage attendance.

• Ensure fast and efficient billing and checkout.

• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.

• Manage stock replenishment, inventory, stock reconciliation, and deliveries.

• Ensure proper visual merchandising, product display, layouts, signage, and mannequins.

• Train new employees on products, customer service, and billing operations.

• Maintain grooming, discipline, and team motivation.

• Prepare operational reports and coordinate with warehouse, buying, marketing, HR, and operations teams.

• Support promotional activities and implement plans to improve sales.

• Control stock loss, shrinkage, and shoplifting.

• Ensure cleanliness, health & safety, and smooth functioning of the assigned department.

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate (Retail Management, Hotel Management, or any discipline).

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in retail operations.

• Strong experience in store operations, team handling, customer service, inventory management, and sales target achievement.

• Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable working in a retail environment, including weekends, holidays, and during peak business seasons.

• It is a Full Time Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
