Job Summary:
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the proper storage and issuance of materials. The role involves keeping accurate records and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices or purchase orders
Store materials in an organized and safe manner
Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or digital systems)
Issue materials as per approved requests
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of all items
Maintain cleanliness and order in the store/warehouse
Coordinate with procurement and other departments
Follow safety and security procedures for storage and handling.
