Key Responsibilities1. Packing Material Management
Maintain proper stock of all packing materials (cartons, labels, tapes, pouches, etc.).
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with the purchase department for reordering materials.
Monitor quality and specifications of packing materials.
2. Inventory & Stock Control
Maintain daily stock records (inward & outward entries).
Conduct regular physical stock verification.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare stock reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Maintain GRN, material issue slips, and stock registers.
Update inventory in ERP/software system.
Report discrepancies or shortages to management.
4. Coordination
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
Ensure smooth dispatch planning with available packing stock.
Follow FIFO/FEFO methods where applicable.
