ob Summary:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance, and documentation of materials. Ensure accurate stock levels, proper storage practices, and timely availability of materials to different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and verify incoming materials against PO, invoice, and delivery documents.
Inspect quantity, identification, and physical condition of materials.
Properly store and organize raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical registers.
Issue materials to departments against authorized requisitions.
Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and raise purchase/replenishment requirements.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
Ensure proper labeling, identification, and safe storage of materials.
Prevent material damage, loss, pilferage, and unauthorized movement.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Accounts, and Quality teams.
Prepare inventory reports, stock statements, GRN/MRN records, and material movement reports.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
Ensure housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards within the store.
Supervise store helpers/warehouse staff and allocate daily work.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and inventory control procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in stores/warehouse operations.
Good knowledge of inventory management and documentation.
Experience with ERP/SAP/Tally or inventory management software preferred.
Good Excel and reporting skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage physical inventory and supervise staff.
