Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain accurate daily records of incoming and outgoing materials using inventory software or logbooks. Ensure zero discrepancies in physical stock.
Material Dispatch Coordination: Verify Purchase Orders (POs) and execute flawless dispatches of materials to local and outstation project sites. Coordinate directly with transport agencies and delivery vehicle drivers.
Shelf-Life & Expiry Tracking: Regularly monitor batch numbers, production dates, and strict expiry dates of silicone sealants (e.g., managing stocks with varying August/October expiry timelines) to enforce the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory system.
Inward & Outward Verification: Check incoming material quality, quantities, and packaging integrity against delivery challans or invoices. Report any damages or shortages immediately to management.
Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, structured, and systematically arranged for quick material sorting, safe lifting, and seamless auditing.
Documentation: Handle physical delivery challans, loading slips, and hand over dispatch documents to the accounts team for tax invoicing.
